Scale-I or Scale-II, which one I am eligible to apply in IBPS IT Officer recruitment if having 2 years of working experience?

Hello Sir, I want to apply for IBPS exam for IT officer recruitment. I want to know which scale is I am eligible, Scale I or Scale II. I am working in a private firm from 2 years after my B.Sc(IT). So, please suggest me. 

Dear Aspirant,

As cited above that you are having 2 years of Experience in a Private firm after your Graduation in IT and want to know for which scale you are eligible Scale I or Scale II in IBPS IT Officer exam then for your information :

The recruitment for filing up of IT Officer post in IBPS is solely done through IBPS which means Indian Banking Personnel selection which is an authority which recruits candidates for the posts in 19 Public sector banks including Regional Rural banks.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the IT Officer post in IBPS is as follows :

a. An applicant must be a citizen of India

b. His age should be in between 21 to 27 years

c. Must possess Graduation in Engineering / Technology / or Bachelor degree or DOEACC course in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics and communication etc.,

Relaxation in terms of age is applicable for the OBC and SC / ST candidates.

The syllabus pattern followed by the IBPS for the IT Officer post is as follows :-

General Awareness / General English / Quantitative Aptitude / Logical Reasoning / Marketing Aptitude

Each topic listed above contains 40 question which carries one mark and there would be a negative marking of 0.25marks for each wrong answer is applicable.

Hence, from the above it is clear that you are eligible for applying to the Scale I post based on your Graduation with Information Technology stream.
