How to prepare for Bank exams at home?

I want to prepare for Bank exams. The financial condition of my family is not so good so i can't afford to join any coaching. Kindly tell me, how to prepare for bank exams at home?

As cited above, that your family condition is not good and want to prepare for the Bank exams at home and want to know how to prepare then for your information, the recruitment for filling up of posts in IBPS is done through IBPS, SBI and other Co-Operative banks authorities.

The syllabus pattern followed by the Banking sector authorities for the competitive exam is as follows :

General Awareness with special reference to Banking sector

General English

Quantitative Aptitude

Logical Reasoning

Marketing Aptitude

Each topic listed above contains 40 question which carries one mark each and there would be a negative marking of 0.25marks for each wrong answer is applicable.

As cited above that your family condition is not so good to take a coaching but I suggest you to buy the following books for the preparations to the above cited subject. The books provided are specially designed for the banking sector exams and total of all the books will be amounts to Rs. 1200/- which anyhow you have to afford or you have to buy books second hand which you can easily get at the Bookstalls.

You have to create a time table for atleast a minimum of one month for each topic after completing all the topics listed above I suggest you to start practicing question papers because question papers are the key to success means by practicing question papers you will get a idea about the exam pattern and question patter also you can build better time management in your exams.
