Eligibility to appear in SBI PO exam for a candidate who has secured 47% in 12th and 51% in B.Com?

Hello friends, I have got 51% in my B.Com and 47% in 12th Commerce. I am eligible for SBI PO exam? I want to give this exam but don’t know if I am eligible or not because I have below 50% in my 12th Commerce.

Dear Aspirant,

As cited above that you have secured 47% in 12th and 51% in B.Com and want to appear for the SBI PO exam but wont know the eligibility criteria as you are eligible or not then for your information :

The recruitment for filling up of PO post in SBI is done by State Bank of India Recruiting Authority which recruits the candidates for the posts in State bank of India Banks.

PO is nothing but Probationary officer is one of the most important post in Banking sector.

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Probationary officer post in State Bank of India is as follows :-

a. Must be a Citizen of India
b. Age should be in between 21 to 27 years
c. Must possess a minimum of 60% in Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

Relaxation in terms of age is applicable which are as follows :-

3 years to OBC
5 years to SC/ST
8 years to Ex-servicemen

The syllabus pattern followed by the SBI for the PO exam is as follows :-

General Awareness with special reference to Banking Sector
General English
Quantitative Aptitude
Logical Reasoning
Marketing Aptitude
Descriptive Paper

The Exam pattern comprises with the following :-

Preliminary Exam which contains Objective Type questions
Mains Exam which contains Descriptive type questions

Hence, from the above it is clear that you are not eligible for applying to the Probationary officer post in SBI / IBPS as you have secured less than 60% in your Graduation.

On base of SSLC with 60% or Intermediate with 55% or Just pass percentage in Graduation you will be eligible for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in SBI / IBPS or any Banking sector.
