
Detailed information and reference books to prepare for NDA exam?
Hello Sir, I am studying in 10th CBSE Board. I would like to serve myself in Defence. I came to know that NDA is the way to enter in Defence. But I have to clear its entrance exam. So, I want to get information of NDA exam and also tell me what books are required to crack this entrance exam.

As cited above, that you are pursuing 10th from CBSE Board and you would like to serve in the Defence sector and want to appear for the NDA exam also you want to know which books you have to refer for cracking NDA exam then for your information.
It is very happy to hear that you would like to serve for the country in Defence sector. For getting a post in Defence sector one have to appear for the NDA exam.
NDA is nothing but National Defense academy which is competitive exam essential for getting admission in the following sector.
Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force.
The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NDA exam is as follows :-
a. Must be a Citizen of India
b. Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years
c. Must possess Intermediate qualification with a minimum of 60% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as a subject.
Apart from the educational qualification a candidate must be Physical and mentally fit and also he should be unmarried.
The minimum physical requirement requires for applying to the NDA exam is as follows :-
Height – 165cms
Chest – 84cms
Weight – equivalent to height as per standard measures.
The exam pattern comprises with Physical fitness test, Written exam, interview and on Merit.
The syllabus pattern followed by the NDA for the competitive exam is as follows :-
General Awareness
General English
Numerical Aptitude
Logical Reasoning
