Detailed information and date of Civil Services Preliminary exam?
Hello, I am a B.Tech final year student. I have no backlog in any year. I will be completed my B.Tech before summer. I want to give Civil Services exam. Kindly tell me when notifications out? Also tell me when is the exam. I know I have to give preliminary exam first. So, I want to know the details of this exam. Help me to know.

As cited above that you are pursuing B.Tech and have no backlog in any year and you want to give Civil Service Exam and want to know the complete information about the Civil Services Preliminary exam then for your information.
Civil Services exam are conducted by the UPSC every year for filling up of Civil Service posts in Government of India. Some of the Civil Services posts are IAS/IPS / IRS/IFS / IES etc.,
The exam pattern followed by the UPSC for the Civil Service posts is as follows :-
Preliminary Exam :- The syllabus pattern comprises with Objective type multiple choice questions which are based on General Knowledge and General Awareness.
Shortlisted candidates are eligible for the Mains exam which comprises with the Descriptive type questions which are based on the syllabus which a candidates has choosed which fillingup of application.
Again shortlisted candidates will be eligible for interview round where based on your personality, confidence and way of answer the marks will be allotted.
After completion of the interview round based on the Merit Cadre will be allowed as per rank like IAS / IPS / IRS etc., and candidates will be diverted on a nine months training program where they will learn how to work etc.,
After completion of the training candidates will be posted for the post on a probationary period for two years and based on the work promotions will be made.
