Am I eligible for Railway job if 32 years old?

Can anyone please tell me that am I eligible to apply for Railway job. I am 32 years old and have completed my PG. Please reply as soon as possible.

As cited above that you have completed your Post Graduation and you are 32 years old and want to know whether you are eligible for applying to the jobs in Indian Railways or not then for your information:

Railways is considered as one of the biggest sector of Government of India and further the Railway is divided into Four zones East, West, North and South the recruitment for the posts in the respective zones are done by the respective zone recruiting authorities.

As told that you have completed Post Graduation then for your information on base of Graduation qualification you are eligible for applying to A, B, C and D grade posts in Indian Railways.

The minimum eligibility criteria apart from the educational qualification requires is as follows :-

a. An applicant must be a Citizen of India

b. Age of the applicant should be in between 18 to 27 years for General Category candidates, however relaxation of 3 years to OBC, 5 years to SC/ST and 8 years to Ex-servicemen is applicable.

The selection pattern followed by the Railway Recruitment Board for the post is solely though written exam, interview and Merit.

From the above it is clear that if you belongs to SC/ST or Ex-servicemen category then only you will be eligible for applying to the posts in Indian Railway.
