BCA or BHM: Which course is better for 12th Science?

Hello friends. I have completed 12th with Science(PCM). Now I want to go in the field of computers or Hotel Management. What would be better: BCA or BHM?

Dear Aspirant,

As cited above that you have completed 12th Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects and want to know in which field you have to do Graduation BCA or BHM then for your information, both BCA and BHM are completely different field from one another and both the fields are having different different scope. Before taking admission in any of the specialization I would like to suggest you in which field you are having interest means you are having interest in Software field or Hotel Management field :

BCA is nothing but Bachelor degree in Computer application which is a three year Graduation course after your Intermediate qualification. After completion of the Graduation in Computer application you will be eligible for applying to the following posts in many of the MNCs software companies like Infosys / TCS / HCL / Wipro etc., Some of the posts that you will be eligible are as follows :-

System Administrator

Database Administrator

System / Data Analyst

Web Designer

Programmer

Etc.,

The starting salary that a Computer field graduate get is around Rs. 15,000/- based on experience and skills the salary will be increases and there is no limit in hike of salary.

BHM is nothing but Bachelor degree in Hotel Management which is also a three year Graduation course after Intermediate qualification, after completion of Graduation in Hotel Management you will be eligible for applying to the following posts in many of the Hotels, Resorts and Lodgings etc.,

Some of the posts that you may be eligible are as follows :

General Manager,

Frond Desk Manager,

Customer Service Manager

Sales Management

Etc,

For getting good payscale and reputed post one have to complete Master degree in Business administration.

Hence, from the above it is clear that both field are different and having different scope one goes to Software field and other goes to Administration field. So choice is yours as both the fields are having a wide scope.
