Whether the Interviewer takes interview in both Hindi & English languages for IBPS PO recruitment? What kind of questions they asked?

Hello everyone, I am preparing for IBPS PO recruitment written exam. I am preparing by myself. I want to know if I qualify the written exam then after this exam I can call for an interview. But in interview what questions they asked? The interviewers use both hindi and english languages?

Dear Aspirant,

As cited above that you have applied to the IBPS PO exam and want to know if you qualify for the Interview round then the inverviewers use which language Hindi / English for taking an interview then for your information.

The acronym of the IBPS is Indian Banking Personnel Selection which is an authority to recruit the candidates for almost 19 Public Sector banks including Regional Rural Banks.

The Selection pattern followed by the IBPS for the PO post is as follows :-

Preliminary Exam
Mains Exam
Interview
Merit

Preliminary Exam comprises with the Objective Type multiple choice question while Mains exam comprises with the Descriptive type questions.
1/3rd of the Qualified candidates in the Mains exams are called for an interview.

As you are going to become a Probationary Officer then proficiency in English is essential compare to Hindi to get plus points in the Interview. As you know the quote a First Impression is a Last Impression. When you enters the room you only greets the Interviewers in English like Good Morning / Noon / Evening etc.,

After that they will ask about yourself, your qualification and what is the reason for your interest in opting Banking sector for a job. They will ask about the roles and responsibility of the PO post etc., etc., etc.,

Based on which marks will be allotted also some marks are allotted on your dress code, personality, impressions and self confidence etc.,

Hence, from the above it is clear that you have to prepare for both English / Hindi Language to face the interview to get more marks as Interview is the last point for gaining marks to book a post in Banking sector.

Hope this above information is useful to you if not then please let us know for instant answers from our end.

All the best.
