Eligibility criteria and minimum percentage required to apply in IBPS exam for B.A.(Political Science) student
Hello friends, I am studying in B.A. with Political Science. I want to enter in IBPS. I would like to know that I am eligible for giving IBPS exam? If yes, then what percentage is needed to apply?

As cited above that you are pursuing BA with Political Science and you want to enter in IBPS, you want to know the minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the post in IBPS then for your information.
The acronym of IBPS is nothing but Indian Banking Personnel Selection which is one of the top most recruiting authority which recruits the candidates for filling up of posts in 19 Public Sector banks including Regional Rural Banks.
IBPS recruits candidates for the following posts :-
Probationary Officer
Clerical Assistant
The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Probationary officer post is 60% aggregate in Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
For applying to the Clerical Assistant post in IBPS Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC is essential.
Apart from educational qualification Citizenship of India as well as Age limit between 18-28 years is applicable. However relaxation in terms of age i.e. 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST and Ex-servicemen is applicable.
The selection pattern followed by the IBPS for the Common Written exam is through Written exam, Interview and on Merit.
Hence, from the above it is clear that for applying to the post in IBPS Just pass Graduation for Clerical Assistant and 60% aggregate for applying to the Probationary officer is essential.
