Can I prepare for bank exams being an Arts student?

 I am doing graduation in Arts . I want to know whether I am eligible for banking PO exams or not as I am an Arts student. Also, please tell me some tips for preparation to achieve good percentage.Thank you.
Dear Aspirant,

As cited above, that you are pursuing Graduation in Arts and you wish to apply for the bank exam then for your information the recruitment for the Posts in Banking sector is done by the following recruiting authorities they are :-

State Bank of India : SBI recruits candidates for the posts in State Bank of India Branches.
Indian Banking Personnel Selection : IBPS recruits candidates for the posts in 19 public sector banks including Regional Rubal Banks.
Co-Operative Banks : Respective Co-operative banks recruits the candidates for their respective banks.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the PO post in IBPS is as follows :-

a) Must possess a minimum of Graduation as essential qualification with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
b) His age must be in between 18 to 28 years. However relaxation as per banks norms is applicable as per Category.
c) He Must be a citizen of India.

Syllabus pattern followed by the banking sector recruiting authorities for the PO post comprises with topics like General Awareness, English, Numerical aptitude and logical Reasoning.

Also Descriptive paper also conducts separately which includes letter writing and essay etc.,

Tips for achieving good percentage in banking sector PO exam.

I would like to recommend you to purchase books from best authors like RS Agarwal and S.Chand publications also you have to practice as per syllabus for better time management in your competitive examination.
